TRA2026 call for papers

TRA (Transport Research Arena) is a flagship event in the field of transportation research, with a specific focus on User-Centered Mobility, Green Mobility and Decarbonization, Planning and Operation, and Transport Digitalization. The 2026 edition of TRA will take place from 18-21 May next year in Budapest, and the main conference theme is “Re-Generation in Transport.”
TRA aims to bridge the gap between academics and practitioners, bringing together leading experts while offering opportunities for promising young researchers. Attendees can also enjoy engaging demonstrations, innovative exhibitions, technical tours, and social events. Four categories will have an award attributed: a young researcher competition, a senior researcher competition, a special honorary award, and a Host Award.
Organisers welcome everyone involved in transport and mobility research to contribute to TRA2026. The flexible program is designed to ensure all stakeholders have a voice. The call for papers is now open, and we look forward to your submissions!
