Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2025

2024 is drawing to a close. Let’s celebrate our achievements by looking back on a year rich in activities and new developments:

– The Association has the privilege to welcome a new Chairman to the CCAM Association, Christian Merkt (BMW Group), and a new Vice-Chairman, Christoph Weigand (Continental).
– The previous Administration Board members reflected on the situation of the CCAM Partnership at midterm of Horizon Europe.
– New members have joined, reaching an impressive milestone in our membership with more than 230 members. We are delighted with the increase in membership, demonstrating the quality and relevance of our work within the Partnership.
– 7 new projects from the 2023 topic call have started their research, for which we will have the first results in 2 years.
– Our three flagship events – RTR 2024, TRA 2024 and EUCAD Symposium 2024 – were a great success, allowing us to get together, network and promote the Partnership’s activities.
– Last but not least, our joint position paper, co-authored with ERTRAC and the 2Zero Partnership, sets the priorities and concrete solutions for research and innovation in road transport in the next framework programme, FP10.

As we look forward to 2025, remember to secure your spot for the RTR 2025 conferencefrom 11 to 13 February 2025 in Brussels. The 2025 edition will take place in a new venue, the EGG, and will have a strong representation of CCAM projects, besides offering networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

Also, save the date for the EUCAD2025 in Ispra, Italy from 13-15 May. The programme and registration will be available early next year.
