TRA 2026

The Transport Research Arena 2026 will take place in Budapest from 18 to 21 May 2026.

TRA gathers stakeholders from all transport networks (road, rail, waterborne, and aviation), bringing notably research and industry communities closer to each other and providing a forum where they can exchange views and ideas with policymakers on the industry’s challenges and opportunities.

The event is open to researchers, academics, students and young researchers, engineers; transport infrastructure managers and owners; traffic operation managers, transport operators; SMEs and start-ups; industry, vehicle manufacturers and suppliers, ship builders; public authorities, governmental bodies; non-governmental organisations; other transport stakeholders and decision makers. The event includes plenary sessions, technical sessions, exhibitions, and demonstrations.

This conference’s goal is nothing less than finding and bringing together the future’s empowering intellects to revitalise and future-proof mobility in front of all the challenges and opportunities awaiting us in the new era.
