Christoph Weigand, our New CCAM Vice-Chair

The CCAM Association is pleased to announce Christoph Weigand’s appointment as its new vice-chair, effective December 3rd, 2024. He will take over Christian Scharnorst’s responsibilities.

Since July 2023, Christoph Weigand has been heading Continental’s Public-Private Partnership Department. The main tasks of the full-service department for all types of government-funded projects range from identifying public funding possibilities for Continental, their acquisition, over funding consulting to legal compliant administration and audits of funded projects, as well as interface to different funding agencies, partners and associations. Christoph started his career at a medium-sized rubber company before joining BASF. 

 Since 2004, he gained experience at Continental in various management positions in all former automotive divisions. Before joining PPP he worked as senior strategy manager in the automotive strategy department.
