Call for Expression of Interest for Cities & Regions to Collaborate with CCAM Partnership/Association

Piloting and Scaling Connected, Cooperative & Automated Mobility (CCAM) in Urban Areas
The European Partnership on Connected, Cooperative and Automated Mobility (CCAM) and the CCAM Association invite urban and regional authorities to express their interest in entering into a Cooperation Working Arrangement to foster closer collaboration at a strategic roadmap and programme level. This initiative aims to support the integration of CCAM solutions into urban transport systems, helping cities achieve their goals for safer, more sustainable, inclusive and efficient mobility while providing the CCAM stakeholders with opportunities to pilot and scale solutions resulting from funded projects in the urban context.

- Testing and scaling urban CCAM pilots to evaluate real-world impacts.
- Identifying approaches to make CCAM solutions fit for cities.
- Establishing governance models that balance innovation, regulation, and public
- Measuring impact on efficiency, safety, environment, and social acceptance.
Who can apply?
We welcome expressions of interest from:
- City governments looking to implement smart mobility solutions.
- Regional authorities aiming to align development funds for CCAM to Horizon Europe calls.

Interested cities and regions are invited to submit their expression of interest in the form of a
One-page outline stating
- Who you are
- What you expect from a collaboration with CCAM and
- What you are ready to provide into it
by the deadline of 1 June 2025.
This is a non-binding first step to explore collaboration opportunities, with selected partners being invited to engage in more detailed discussions that could lead to one or a small number of formalized MoU. Regardless of the outcome of the procedure, all applicants will be invited to a follow-up event to share their experiences and expectations with the CCAM Partnership and CCAM Association.
