A dynamic two days for CCAM stakeholders in Brussels

The CCAM community came together for an intense and inspiring two-day event in Brussels on 24-25 March, packed with insightful discussions, innovative ideas, and forward-thinking collaborations.

Day 1: FAME workshop – lessons learned & challenges ahead

On Monday, the FAME project hosted an interactive workshop, looking into key challenges and lessons learned from CCAM Partnership’s projects. Breakout sessions tackled critical topics, including:

  • Societal acceptance of CCAM, emphasizing the need for clear communication with citizens to build trust.
  • International cooperation, strengthening global synergies for CCAM advancements.
  • Data and vehicle technologies, exploring frameworks for data sharing that will shape the future of mobility.

Day 2: CCAM Association Networking & Multicluster Meetings

Tuesday kicked off with an exclusive CCAM Association members’ networking session, fostering open exchanges and sparking ideas that could shape future EU projects. Discussions covered:

  • Remote operations
  • Large-scale demonstration planning
  • Next-gen environment perception for CCAM operations
  • Human driving behaviour in CCAM validation
  • Edge-AI building blocks
  • Data exchange platforms

The afternoon featured the CCAM Multicluster meeting, focusing on strengthening collaboration between the CCAM Association and cities & regions. With large-scale demonstrations on the horizon, this is a pivotal moment to establish impactful partnerships that will bring tangible benefits to urban mobility. At the end of the meeting, the Call for Expression of Interest for Cities & Regions to Collaborate with CCAM Partnership/Association was launched as a tangible next step.
